Richmond Code Camp

John & Company traveled to Richmond for the 2nd code camp of the year and had a great time.  There were a number of great presentations, Joel Cochran, Stephen Michelotti, and Page Brooks captured my attention in their presentations.

For those of you, who haven't attended a code camp, get busy.  They're free, fall on a saturday, have food and will feed not only your body but your mind.

Atlanta and Agile

I was invited to an RDA conference on Automated Lifecycle Management in Atlanta to deliver a session on "Adopting Agile Methodologies in the Enterprise".  The entire conference was focused on decision makers and about 15 showed up.

My session went well and there was plenty of interest and a number of questions concerning how to do it.  Since we have recently gone through the same process, I was able to offer advice based on our experience.

I was able to meet a few folks from the Atlanta Alt.net community.  Chris Rauber, 2 guys from GunBrokers.com and John (Last name escapes me ... sorry).  I was hoping to get to see David Laribee or Shawn Wildermuth, but they were'nt available to attend.

I got to meet David Scruggs (Technical Evangelist) and Glen Gordon (DE).  Looking forward to a return to Atlanta.

I'll be in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area on March 19, 2008.  The topic is "a Beginners Guide to compact framework development with SQLMe and PPC's".
